Hello Readers,
My name is Gigi. New Years Day of 2007, I decided to leave my day job, to start my own music business. My husband and I started our group, Mahogany Dust, which combines the musical elements of Acoustic Guitar, Soul, Darbuka Drum and Spoken Word.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, working 5 years in the Infectious Diseases industry. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health- Medical Technology working 4 years in the Health/Hospital Industry. I am currently a Master's student in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University to achieve my number one aspiration, to make Mahogany Dust global.
Outside of Music I enjoy cooking. I have a blog that I post vegan/vegetarian recipes, for those looking for a healthier lifestyle. I am writing a series of vegan/vegetarian cookbooks. After publishing the first series, I will start a cooking show to demonstrate the recipes and really show how to obtain a healthier style, using little to no animal-products.
